ONCE UPON A TIME...
The history of the Apartment Lara goes back to the year 1947 when Lara’s grandfather Robert Höglinger built a chairlift. From then on the chairlift transported many people from Ortisei to S.Giacomo. The lift was a big success, but was later transformed into a cable car and was in operation until 1970. After closing down the lift, the top station remained unused for several years until it was renovated as our Apartment Lara Ruveda in 1994.

The house, where our holiday apartment "Siela" is located, is surrounded by lush green nature. It has always been a family property and it was originally a summer holiday house. In 1978 it was once again renovated and enlarged and in 2020 it was rebuild to Apartment Lara "Siela".
The sunkissed panoramic location makes this place so special both for us and the people coming to visit us.

We are Lara and Angelika, mother and daughter. What unites us is the love for nature, being open for creative and new things and, of course, the enthusiasm of being a host!
